‍ Instructions

✅ Step 1: Cook the Pasta

    1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

    2. Add pasta and cook until al dente (firm to the bite), according to package instructions.

  1. Drain and set aside.

Time-Saving Tip: Start the sauce while the pasta cooks to get everything done in 10 minutes!

Step 2: Sauté the Garlic

    1. In a large skillet or sauté pan, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium heat.

    2. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Don’t let it brown—burnt garlic becomes bitter.

Step 3: Add Tomatoes & Vegetables

    1. Pour in the can of diced tomatoes (juice included).

    2. Stir well and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes to blend the flavors.

    3. Add 1 cup of frozen peas or mixed vegetables.

  1. Stir, then cover and cook for another 3–4 minutes until veggies are tender.

Step 4: Combine with Pasta

    1. Add the cooked, drained pasta into the skillet.

    2. Gently toss to combine until pasta is evenly coated in the tomato sauce.

  1. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
